Mrs. Alva Good died at the home of her son, Matthew Good, a mile south of Grange Corner early on Tuesday night. Death resulted from pneumonia after a few hours illness. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church here yesterday morning at 10. Burial at Union Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Good lived here for a number of years before moving to Indianapolis. She is survived by two sons, George and Matthew and one daughter, Mrs. Ollie Miles of Indianapolis. - kbz

Mrs. Alva Good, who was buried here on Thursday morning of last week, was the daughtet of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Dickerson and was born Jan 17, 1871. She was married to Alva Good Jan 18, 1895. She is survived by the husband and two sons, George and Matthew and by one daughter, Mrs. Ollie Miles. For a number of years they lived in and near Waveland, later moving to Indianapolis. At the time of her death they were living temporarily with her son, Matthew. She was in her usual health on Tuesday morning and prepared breakfast for the family but pneumonia caused her death at half past two that night. She was a member of the M.E. Church. Besides the immediate family she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Harry Moody of Indianapolis and Mrs. Jesse Vermillion of Anderson and one brother, John Dickerson of Indianapolis. - kbz
